Amy has been playing bells since high school, when her grandparents bought a set of handbells for Vincent United Methodist Church in Minot, North Dakota, which is Amy’s hometown. Declining the honor of learning to play was never an option and luckily, she fell in love with handbells. Throughout her life, every time she’s moved, one of the first things she’s done is find a local bell choir. So that means she’s rung bells in Minot, ND; Tomball, TX; Long Beach, CA; Walnut Creek, CA; and now here in San Antonio. Amy is married, has two adult children, and one new granddaughter.
