Heather Westerfield

Heather has been a singer and musician as long as she can remember. Heather grew up singing and playing piano from the age of 7. She attended Texas Lutheran University where she majored in Music Education and sang with TLU’s Mixed Choir and was a charter member of Kantorei Chamber Choir. She has taught elementary music for 17 years – 14 at Montgomery Elementary in NEISD and 3 at The Advanced Learning Academy in SAISD, where she is also the Euclid campus librarian. She has led children’s choir, percussion club, music theater club and Chime Choir. Heather began ringing bells at TLU and after graduation joined the St. Andrew’s UMC bell choir, Plangentes Dei. She currently rings at Central Christian Church in San Antonio. She spends her summers working as Assistant Camp Director at Camp Mitre Peak Girl Scout Camp in West Texas. Heather and her husband, Noah, live in Seguin, and outside of music she enjoys reading, camping and being an ed tech geek.
