Karen spent eighteen years as a speech/language pathologist in public schools and private practice before entering the field of Christian Education. She has spent most of the last ten years working in the area of Children’s Ministries. She has enjoyed ringing for about 12 years in church bell choirs. Karen has taught children’s handbells and helped to establish a handbell ministry at Bracken UMC where the enthusiastic ringers are quickly surpassing her abilities to conduct! Karen’s family includes husband Mike and their two young adult children, Cory and Monica. She enjoys reading, traveling and gardening.
