Laura has been ringing with various groups for almost ten years, mostly in the upper octaves. Being mother to Mollie, Mallorie, and Gehryt helps her play four-in-hand… or is it the other way around? Laura’s day job as an elementary Art teacher is the best in the world. She completely enjoys the creativity and imagination of her students whether they are painting, drawing, sculpting, or assembling! She also teaches a quilting group after school for 4th and 5th graders – those students collaboratively make a quilt and then donate it to the San Antonio Children’s Shelter. Besides ringing with the River City Ringers, in her spare time Laura enjoys fiber arts, working in her yard, baking, and reading.
