Patsy first started ringing handbells in 1984 at her church in Ft. Worth – after the arrival of her first child in 1986 she took a hiatus from ringing as her family grew & her family relocated. The handbell bug kept calling to her & in 1996 she gave in & joined the handbell choir at her church in Birmingham, AL. In 2001 her husband’s job transferred her family to San Antonio. She has participated in several handbell choirs here & is delighted to be a current member of Jubellee Ringers at Trinity UMC. When not working on manuscripts for her editing company, Patsy enjoys historical research and in 2004 wrote the 80-year history of the San Antonio Girl Scout Council. She is also a proud member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas.
